Wedding Piece

This is a piece that someone asked me to stitch for them. This person used to be a stitcher and was going to stitch this for a niece. She then stopped stitching but had all the stuff for it. I stitched it up for her. Although, it is not a design I might have picked to stitch myself, it did turn out nicely. It is on a 10ct tula with Wildflowers and JABC buttons. I graphed the names and added them. The design is by Samsarah and it is called A Fresh Start.

Fair and Squares Sent and Received

Here is a picture of Heidi's Fair and Square pieces that she sent to me. The bird was perfect for me because I love to stitch birds..
And this is the set of squares I sent to Heidi. I wanted to stitch a winter theme and something cute. This is part of a SanMan Originals design.

Another Mill Hill Button and Bead kit finished. This is Be Thankful. I thought it was a good one to do the the Holidays.

Sunday, November 25, 2007

I have done quite a bit of stitching and completed another Mill Hill Button and Bead Kit. I will post it here when I get a pic of it. Haven't been able to spend too much time on the computer between work and kids. The kids are constantly hogging the computer and won't let me on. Oh well, will try to remedy that and try to get on while they are at school.

This is The Trilogy Winter Line Up I made into a pinkeep for my mother.

These are the first and last pages of the Ackworth Friendship Book a group of us are doing. It is stitched on 36 count linen using Carrie Creations Jellyfish

Tuesday, November 6

I have not posted so long. I had a broken bone in my left wrist and it made it a little difficult to do too much, since I am left handed. I did stitch right handed and it just took me a little longer to stitch. Here is oneof the few things I actually did finish.

Friday, September 21, 2007

I haven't been doing too much stitching. I do have a few pieces done and hope to post them sometime this weekend. I have a broken left wrist and have a cast on so it is just a little difficult to get much stitching done. It will hopefully be off soon and then I will be able to catch up on my stitching.

August 3

July 16

Been doing a lot of different things instead of working on just one project. Have been working on a RR for The Needle Nook - almost have my part finished. Have been working on The Big Zipper - have repaired my mistakes and gotten a bit farther. A Mill Hill Button and Bead kit is in progress too - have the actual stitching done and am now working on the beads. Also have been doing a little on The Mighty Samurai - while working at my home care patient (he is asleep at the time) do a little each night I am there - it really helps to get projects done.

Bent Creek - The Big Zipper

I have started Bent Creek - The Big Zipper. I finally had the outside edge that is like a ribbon done and started just the straight border. I found out I had done something wrong and now have to frog out a quarter of the border. I am so frustrated I had to put it up for a while. This is how it looked before I put the rest of the border in that was wrong.

Duck Duck Goose

This is Duck Duck Goose by Mill Hills Buttons and Beads. I saw this at the Cross Stitch Show in Rockhome Gardens. We have an inside joke about being a duck and I had to have it. This is my first piece on perforated paper. I liked doing it so well that my sister had some others she hadn't done and I stole them from her.

I have my match up for Fair and Square. Now just have to decide what I am going to do. Will pick that out this weekend. I have been working on my RR for the Needle Nook and will be able to send it out tomorrow. I will also need to pull my stuff for the Bookmark Exchange for the Needle Nook.

Its Saturday

Worked some on my RR for the Needle Nook. Have gotten quite a bit done. Not as much as I would like to, but if I can keep working this much on it over several more days, I should be able to get it done by Friday so it is ready to mail out. As if I didn't have enough stuff, I ordered more from Down Sunshine Lane on a gift certificate I got from my kids for Mother's Day. Of course, I spent more than the gift certificate was for, but it was so much fun. I will never get all the stash I have done, but I keep collecting it anyway.

Hummingbirds

These are two of a set of three coasters that I am doing. I know there is a fourth, but I couldn't find it. They were done on 32count lugana, the green is an opalescent and the pink is not.

Needle Book for Terry

This is a Just Nan Needlebook. I made this for my sister, Terry, for Christmas this past year. It was kinda hard to keep it a secret. Had to work on it while she was working.

These are designs I am doing for my kids to put their band medals on. I will finish them as wall hangings and post pics when done. There will be material around each one to put these medals on.
